It’s time to wander into the sunshine with fewer layers, while keeping fun indoor opportunities on standby for those rainy days.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat 

A multigenerational crowd-pleaser with vibrant dances, colorful costumes and a dazzling ensemble of all ages, Joseph is sure to entertain during three days at Prisco Community Center. With pyramids, a chariot of gold and, of course, the technicolor dreamcoat, it’s a performance not to be missed, so grab your tickets early!

A Night with My Prince 

An open invitation to moms, sons, dads and daughters … join us for an evening of enchantment at Eola Community Center. The semi-formal dance will feature a DJ playing classic and popular tunes, fun group dances, light refreshments, nail-painting and tattoo stations, and photo booth!

Party with Pikachu 

Everyone’s favorite Pokémon is coming to party at the Vaughan Athletic Center! C’mon out and make crafts, munch on a snack and win fun prizes during Pokémon BINGO! Register early for a discounted rate.

Maple Fest 

Celebrate the sweetness of spring as a Park District tradition of more than 30 years returns to Red Oak Nature Center. See – and taste! – firsthand how tree sap is collected and harvested into a tasty syrup that’s poured over your pancakes or warm biscuits. Maple Fest is a popular event, so grab your tickets before they’re all tapped out!

Spring Break Camp 

A great way to stay active during the break from school, our weeklong all-day camps feature instruction and participation in a variety of sports where campers will learn basic skills, partake in drills and play games. Four-day sport-specific camps during Spring Break are also offered through our MVP Sports!

Glow Swim 

Pick up your glow swag at the pool entrance and get ready to be dazzled by a night of neon at the Vaughan Athletic Center. Romp under the dump bucket and zip down the slides in the leisure pool, and try your skill at the Wibit obstacle course in the competition pool.

Milo’s Marvelous Egg Hunt 

Hippity-hop over to Blackberry Farm and join our resident bunny, Milo, for a traditional egg hunt. Plastic eggs will be filled with candy and prizes for different age groups. The Easter Bunny will be on-hand for pictures and adults must accompany children to the event. This is an outdoor event, so remember to dress for the weather. Don’t forget your basket!

Spring Craft Fling 

Let your creativity run free by making your own spring wreath from scratch at the Vaughan Athletic Center. We’ll provide all the supplies, teach you how to make fancy bows and be of any (or no!) assistance with the artificial flowers and greenery, and ribbons and fabric of your choice.

Mother’s Day Brunch and Flowers 

Treat mom to a special day beginning with a beautiful brunch in the Event Barn before exploring all the fun and history Blackberry Farm has to offer. Along with brunch, the kiddos will make a fun craft for mom with an abundance of photo ops along the way!

Mid-American Canoe & Kayak Race 

Save the date and make plans to launch your watercraft in a community tradition that dates to the 1960s! More than 300 paddlers participated in last year’s long-anticipated return after the previous four races were scratched due to unforeseen circumstances. Important note: This year’s race will be held on Saturday 

When: Saturday, June 3
Where: Starting points in St. Charles or Batavia; finish at McCullough Park/Prisco Community Center in Aurora.
Ages: 8+ (participants under 8 must be accompanied by an adult)
