The Fox Valley Park District recognizes that families residing within the district boundaries may experience economic hardship from time to time. In keeping with the mission of the District in providing recreation opportunities and developing life skills, the District provides opportunities for qualifying families through the scholarship program.
“Fun for All Residents” – Scholarship Programs
This scholarship program is available to fall Fox Valley Park District residents that qualify for assistance and where fees may be required for registration in Park District (non-contractual) programs. Residents who qualify may apply to receive up to $160 per calendar year (January 1 – December 31) to use for non-contractual Park District programs. The awarded amount will be prorated based on the month the application is received. Scholarship registration begins the same day as resident registration. Allow up to 3 weeks for the application process.
“Fox Valley Families” – Coupon Booklets (NOT AVAILABLE IN 2020)
The scholarship program is available for all qualifying Fox Valley Park District residents. Each Coupon Booklet (with a value of over $200) contains daily admission passes for Fox Valley Park District recreational facilities which may be purchased for $10 per booklet. The coupon booklet includes summer passes to the Splash Country Water Park and Phillips Park Family Aquatic Center and Blackberry Farm. Residents can purchase no more than one coupon booklet per qualifying household. To qualify for a scholarship and/or coupon book purchase, residents much complete a scholarship application form and provide proof of household income. The program is targeted at assisting those at or below the federal poverty levels.
