The 63,000-square-foot Eola Community Center opened in 1993 through a joint effort between the Fox Valley Park District and the City of Aurora Public Library. The building occupies two acres and has 15 acres of community park space. Eola Community Center offers visitors:

Monday to Friday: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday/Sunday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Fitness & Photo ID Hours

Monday to Friday: 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturday/Sunday: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Child Care Hours

Monday to Friday: 8:45 a.m. to noon
Monday to Thursday: 4 to 8 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Fee: $3(R) / $4(N) per hour

Open Gym

Eola Community Center offers open gym for various sports and ages. Times listed are subject to change to accommodate leagues and programs. Players must obtain a Park District ID to participate in open gym programs.

Adult Open Badminton: Ages 18 and up
Residents: $4 / Non-residents: $5
Tuesday: 8:15 to 10 p.m.
Sunday: 8 to 11 a.m.

Adult Open Volleyball: Ages 18 and up
Residents: $4 / Non-residents: $5
Monday: 7:15 to 10 p.m.

Child Care

Eola Community Center offers child care services to guests utilizing the facility. Infants to elementary school-aged children are welcome. The number of infants is limited; please make reservations 48 hours in advance. Parents must remain in the facility while their children are using child care services.

Child Care Fees

Residents: $3 per child per hour
Non-residents: $4 per child per hour
10-punch or 20-punch Baby Port Passes also are available

Reservations and Parties


Newly remodeled Eola Community Center offers modern amenities and a variety of options to fit your event needs. In addition to 12 meeting rooms of all sizes, the Eola gymnasium is available for reservation for large events. Accommodates up to 225. View Fox Valley Park District’s Reservation Guide

Eola Community Center Birthday Parties

All Eola parties include one hour of age-appropriate organized activities, one hour of room rental for food and gifts and party room set-up. Parties are for 12 to 30 guests. Room rentals accommodating larger groups may be purchased for an additional fee.

Ages 3 to 13

Party Themes:

  • Gymnastics Party 
    Gymnasts can celebrate their birthday as they swing, bounce and tumble through the air in the gymnastic room. The room features a glow-up air trak, mini trampoline, in-ground resi pit, vault, bars, beam and spring floor.
  • Superhero Party
    Superheroes will train in our Superhero Training Center full of obstacle courses, blow-up air trak and activities that will suit every superhero!
  • Princess Party
    Party includes a 1 hour and 30 minute room reservation- 45 minutes of that time includes a princess visit. Also included is a photo backdrop, 2 balloon bouquets, and disposable table cloths.
  • Ninja Party
    This party combines unique obstacle courses and challenges with the fun and flexibility of a structured birthday celebration.
