
The Vaughan Fitness Center is dedicated to fitness excellence with quality equipment and programs designed to offer members the best value for their fitness dollar. The fitness center, track and group exercise classes are available for use by either purchasing an annual pass or paying a daily fee.

Fitness Center Hours
Monday to Friday: 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturday / Sunday: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Facility Amenities
- A full-service fitness area with more than 120 pieces of cardiovascular and weight training equipment.
- A new 2,000-square-foot cardio boxing and free weight room complete with heavy bags, speed bags, lifting platform and additional strength training equipment.
- State-of-the-art strength equipment, including Cybex, Life Fitness, Precor, Cable Motion, Hammer Strength, and more than four tons of free weights.
- Cardiovascular conditioning center with treadmills, upright and recumbent cycles, stair climbers, ellipticals, and rowers, featuring Life Fitness, Nautilus, Cybex, Precor, Stairmaster and Star Trac.
- Cardiovascular pieces with individual viewing screens and remote entertainment features.
- Three group exercise studios featuring Step, Kickboxing, Zumba, Spinning, Muscle Conditioning, Pilates, Yoga and Senior Exercise.
- Nationally certified personal trainers and group exercise instructors.
- Reduced-impact 1/6-mile suspended indoor track overlooking the Field House.
- Fully appointed executive locker rooms with steamroom, sauna, grooming aids and accessories, fresh towel service, and private access. (Available at additional charge.)

Fitness Support
Upon enrollment, a pass holder receives two complimentary consultations with a personal trainer to help individuals achieve their fitness goals.
Personal Training
The Vaughan Athletic Center offers some of the most sought-after trainers in the Chicago area. There are three levels of trainers to choose from to best fit skill and ability levels and to help meet goals. Non-pass holder training rates and packages also are available at an additional charge. Fitness Floor Rules
- All users must check in at the Fitness Center desk by presenting a valid pass card before working out.
- Pass holders and guests must wear appropriate workout attire. Socks and athletic shoes are required. Shirts must be worn at all times. No jeans, open-toed or open-backed shoes, boots, sandals, or casual shoes are allowed.
- Except for capped water bottles, food and drinks are prohibited in the Fitness Center.
- Return used towels to the drop at the Fitness Center desk.
- Cell phone use is prohibited on cardiovascular equipment.
- Do not drop or bang weights.
- Please re-rack weights and wipe off equipment after each use.
- Please do not “rest” on workout equipment. Allow others to “work-in”.
- Children under the age of 14 are not permitted in the fitness center at any time.
- Pass holders and guests 14 to 15 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- Gym bags and coats/ jackets are not allowed in the Fitness Center.
- Please report any unsafe or damaged equipment to the Fitness Center staff.
*Add additional family members for $6 per person per month (residents) or $8 per person per month (non-residents). Fitness passes are available for ages 14 and up.
