The Fox Valley Park District recognizes the need to provide quality recreation for special populations that live within the District, utilizing the financial resources available. The District participates as a member of the Fox Valley Special Recreation Association (FVSRA) to work in cooperation with its partner districts to make certain that professional consideration and inclusion is accomplished in accommodating all residents with a disability.

Accessibility of buildings and park facilities are addressed specifically in the District’s ADA Transition Plan (adopted March 12, 2012, and updated July 14, 2014). The District recognizes the importance of remedy and fully intends to continually assess accessibility in any renovations and future developments. The District’s renovations identified in the ADA Transition Plan will take place over a period of years based on priority and available funding.

The Fox Valley Park District is subject to the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Individuals with disabilities who plan to attend this meeting and who require certain accommodations in order to allow them to observe and/or participate in this meeting, or who have questions regarding the accessibility of the meeting or the facilities, are required to contact our ADA Coordinator to allow the District to make reasonable accommodations:
