Important Changes to our Calendar

How can it possibly be October already?  The school year is flying by!

It has been such a joy having  the children back in the buildings.  Everyone is doing such a great job following all of the new protocols such as wearing masks, washing hands often, and answering the health screening questions.  We truly appreciate all the support from each of you.

There have been some changes made to the initial school calendar.  The first change is an additional day off from school.  Tuesday, November 3rd has been named a state holiday, 2020 General Election Day.  We  will now be taking that day off.  The other change on the calendar is the date for Martin Luther King Day; the correct date is Monday, January 18th, not the 20th.

Picture Day is coming up this month.  Photography by Feltes will be taking individual pictures of each child.  This year, all ordering will be done on-line. If you attend class at Blackberry or Red Oak, you should have received an email with information explaining the process.  Pictures will be taken of the three year-old class at Blackberry Farm on Tuesday, October 13th  and of the four year-old class and PreK class on Wednesday the 14th.  Both classes at Red Oak Nature Center will be photographed on Thursday, October 15th. Pictures will be taken at Eola during the week of October 26th.  More information will be sent home closer to the date.

Just a reminder, we are off from school this coming Monday, October 12th.  I hope that you all enjoy the beautiful weather and long weekend with your family.
