The holiday season is here! From now through the end of 2017, it’s a time of non-stop celebration with family and friends as we live it up and enjoy this festive season. We have lots of events and activities geared for all out holiday fun. Enjoy! 

Blackberry Farm Holiday Express

Bring the family for a magical and memorable experience – just like visiting the North Pole! Blackberry Farm is a winter wonderland amid thousands of twinkling lights, festive holiday decorations and happy holiday music. Take a ride on the Holiday Express train – a charming tour around scenic Lake Gregory – and enjoy a hay wagon ride, too. Back in the historic pioneer village, you’ll enjoy crafts, reindeer food bar, story readings of holiday classics at the one-room schoolhouse and… a special visit with Santa and his elves! Live music, carolers, ice sculptor and more! Food and drinks available for purchase. Please note: Tickets for Dec. 16 & 17 are SOLD OUT.

Wine & Canvas

Pinot Noir meets the palette as an instructor guides you through your own custom canvas creation. Bring a bottle of your favorite wine, a few friends and enjoy a lively, social and creative night out. Includes instructor and materials. Ages 18 & up.

Little Elves Gift Making

Parents! Drop off your children and head out for holiday shopping! Your little elves will stay busy making their own gifts to take home and give to friends and family! While you shop, the kids will be putting crafty gifts together like picture frames, ornaments, etc. Pre-registration is required.

When: Saturday, Dec. 9 and Saturday, Dec. 16 – 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Breakfast with Santa

Start a family tradition! Parents and children will enjoy breakfast, crafts and a visit from Santa. Don’t forget the camera! Registration ends Dec. 10.

Holiday Party at Blackberry Farm

Make a special ornament, mix up some reindeer food for those special reindeer and enjoy seasonal stories and activities.

When: Wednesday, Dec. 13, 1 to 2 p.m.

Breakfast with Buddy the Elf

This event is a great opportunity to have a special holiday outing with family and friends. Buddy the Elf will tell tales of his journey through the Gumdrop Forest as participants enjoy a traditional breakfast buffet with Buddy’s favorite food group servings for dessert! We will have a holiday craft, music and many photo opportunities; please bring your own camera, as Buddy will circulate to tables. Buffet will include scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, sausage, bagels, muffins, breakfast potatoes and Danish. All attendees age 2 and older require a ticket. Please arrive with your entire group to ensure you get seating together or near one another. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Family New Year’s Eve Party

Partygoers can bounce in inflatables, play games, participate in fitness demos and dance to the latest music with a DJ spinning tunes. Returning are the active toddler zone area and the prize wheel for all ages. There will be a countdown and balloon drop at noon. Pre-registration by Noon on Dec. 30 includes admission, party favors, and a snack. Day-of registration is an additional $3, and party favors and snack are not available. Admittance to the field house requires a wristband.

When: Sunday, Dec. 31, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: Vaughan Athletic Center, 2121 W. Indian Trail, Aurora
Ages: 2Y and up
Fee: $10 (pre-registered by noon on Dec. 30); $13 at the door
