Red Oak offers opportunities for Scouts to earn badges and participate in troop activities. Scheduled weekend, afternoon and evening activities are announced in the Park District’s activity guides. If your group or Eagle Scout candidate is interested in a service project, please contact Margaret Gazdacka at 630-897-1808.
For All Scouts
Scout Saturdays: During the winter months. (Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts; Wolf, Bear and Webelos Cub Scouts)
Service projects: Earth Day events (April)
Sun, Air, Water and Soil (SAWS) work days: olunteers needed to help rid the area of non-native plants. Individuals and groups are invited. Call 630-897-1808 for project dates.
