The Fox Valley Park District holds a variety of special events throughout the year that provide exciting recreation opportunities for all ages and interests. From traditional favorites like the Mid-American Canoe & Kayak Race and Polar Express to new attractions such as the 5K Spring Gallop and Fox Valley Amazing Race, our events encourage community participation and promote fun for all involved.

make Spring Spruce-up a huge success on April 17 
More than 600 volunteers participated in cleanup efforts at local parks on a sunny-but-chilly Saturday morning - including 180 at Waubonsie Lake Park alone - where four truckloads of trash and recyclables were collected and hauled away. Similar success stories played out at a dozen other parks. THANK YOU to all involved, You bring great pride to your community - as reflected by your sparkling parks. Your efforts are truly appreciated.
