Class Descriptions

Body Blitz

Work all the major muscle groups using hand weights and more. This class is designed to increase strength and improve definition.

Butts & Guts Focus on strengthening and sculpting abs, hips, glutes and legs.
Cardio Mix

Mix it up with this all-cardio class. “Mix” in fun group exercise formats, including Hi-Lo, kickboxing and step.

Extreme Step

Take a step workout to the next level with double-, triple- and circle-step formations. Best for intermediate & above students.

Fit Over 50

Use a variety of equipment to increase muscle strength and endurance, bone density and improved balance.

Group Strength

Effective strength training in a group setting, using straight bars and plates, hand weights, tubes or own body weight.

Hatha Yoga Focus on body alignment, breathing and the integrity of individual asanas (postures). Poses are broken down into different levels to accommodate students of varying levels of experience and flexibility. Class ends with relaxation.
KidFit!

Kidfit! is a youth fitness class for kids ages 7 to 13. Fun cardio activities gets kids moving while building self-esteem and helping them adopt a healthy lifestyle.

Kickbox Mix Energizing cardio class offers a mix of kickboxing techniques, drills and other cardio exercises, complemented with strength and ab/core work.
Nia Low-impact class offers varying rhythms and speeds influenced by dance, martial arts and music, offering increased flexibility, range-of-motion, muscle definition and cardiovascular conditioning.
Pilates Basics

Learn the fundamentals of Pilates, which include proper body alignment, stabilization and breathing, in a slower paced format designed to help build a strong foundation for Pilates practice.

Pilates Traditional mat class designed to work the body’s core, or powerhouse, to improve flexibility and strength.
Piloxing Blends the power, speed and agility of boxing with the beautiful sculpting and flexibility of Pilates.
Power Yoga A physically challenging yoga, where poses flow one to the next. This form of yoga builds strength, flexibility and stamina. This format is appropriate for intermediate to advanced students.
QuickFit Classes Designed to give maximum results in minimal time during the midday hours.
Silver Sensation Designed for active older adults to build strength, endurance and flexibility.
Six-Pack Concentrate on abdominal and lower back work. A great class to add onto the front or back end of your workout routine or simply on its own.
Slides & Shuffles

Learn the hottest line dances, shuffles and slides with step-by-step instructions.

Spinning A dynamic indoor cycling experience. Taught on a specially designed stationary bike and set to music, Spinning classes are a great non-impact workout for people of all fitness levels.
Step Jam High-intensity, mostly low-impact activity featuring great choreography to keep mind and body challenged.
Step & Sculpt Suitable for all levels. Classic step cardio moves with strength and sculpting exercises using hand weights.
Strength Moves Combination strength and cardio class. Use weights, tubing, stability balls, etc. to strengthen and define the body while incorporating simple, effective cardio intervals to pump up the workout.
Tai Chi Combining movement and energy based on relaxation and awareness through balance, coordination and proper alignment.
Tai Chi Qigong Traditional Chinese mind-body exercise can relieve stress and enhance vitality using a series of simple, gentle and graceful movements.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga Suitable for all levels. Follow a carefully balanced sequence of breath-guided postures that teach alignment.
Yin Yoga Focus on the body’s joints and connective tissues through floor postures held for several minutes.
Yoga

Work on poses, proper alignment, stretching and breathing.

Yoga 101

Geared for kids ages 11 and up or as an introduction for adults new to exercise or yoga. Learn basic yoga positions and proper alignment and breathing techniques.

Yoga Basics Learn the fundamentals of yoga postures in this class, which focuses on property alignment, stretching and breathing through poses appropriate to the beginners. No previous yoga training is required.
Zumba Ditch the workout and join the party! Zumba is a fun cardio workout with easy-to-follow dance steps inspired by Latin rhythms, featuring "sizzling" south-of-the-border moves that are "spicy hot!" Dancer or not, burn calories, work up a sweat and have a great time doing it!
ZumbAtomic Kids will shake, wiggle and have a blast with their friends with modified Zumba moves just for them. (Registration required. Fre for children included on an active membership; fee for non-members.)
Zumba Gold Designed for beginners and active older adults, Zumba Gold modifies the popular and fun Zumba cardio workout with moves and pacing suitable for beginners and seniors.
Zumba Toning This class combines targeted body-sculpting exercises and high-energy cardio work with Latin-infused Zumba moves to create a calorie-burning, strength-training dance fitness-party.
